These terms explain the basic rules for using Swanatronics websites, apps, tools, and Swanatronics Desk.
Use at your own responsibility
Swanatronics tools help users operate systems they control. Users are responsible for their own nodes, servers, SSH access, firewall and router settings, backups, credentials, and permissions.
Only connect Swanatronics tools to systems you own or are authorised to manage.
Discord applications and bots
Swanatronics may provide Discord applications and bots for server protection, moderation, community features, testing, support, or experimental use.
Server owners and authorised administrators are responsible for adding, configuring, permissioning, and removing bots in their own Discord servers. Only add Swanatronics bots to servers you own or are authorised to manage.
Do not use Swanatronics Discord applications or bots for spam, harassment, abuse, evading Discord rules, unauthorised access, malicious automation, or activity that violates Discord's own terms, policies, or community rules.
Discord applications and bots are provided on a best-effort basis during development, alpha, beta, testing, and early release. Features, commands, permissions, and availability may change.
Swanatronics applications and bots are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.
Nest Remote
Nest Remote is a phone companion for quick checks, restarts, logs, alerts, and backups. It is not a full server security solution.
Nest Remote does not create SSH keys, install public keys, open ports, configure routers, or secure servers for users. It relies on SSH details provided by the user.
Support and Swanatronics Desk
Swanatronics Desk is provided for support, bug reports, testing feedback, docs issues, feature requests, and ticket tracking. Users are responsible for the accuracy of what they submit.
Do not submit passwords, private keys, passphrases, backup passwords, API tokens, or other secrets. You are responsible for saving your ticket receipt, Ticket ID, and access key.
If you submit anonymously and lose the access key, Swanatronics may not be able to recover or verify the ticket.
Support is best-effort during development, alpha, beta, and early release unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Do not use Desk for abuse, spam, harassment, illegal activity, unauthorised access, or malicious submissions. Internal service areas are not public support routes.
Backups and credentials
Users are responsible for protecting exported files, encrypted backups, and backup passwords.
If you include credentials in an encrypted backup, keep the backup password safe. Lost backup passwords may not be recoverable by Swanatronics.
Availability
Products may be alpha, beta, experimental, coming soon, or under active development. Features can change before release.
Alerts are interval-based and are not guaranteed instant monitoring.
Acceptable use
Do not use Swanatronics tools to access systems without permission.
Do not use the website, tools, or Desk for abuse, attacks, harassment, illegal activity, or unauthorised access.
Liability
Swanatronics tools are provided as-is during development and early release. Keep your own backups and verify important actions.
Do not rely on Nest Remote as the only way to monitor or control critical systems.
